Inspection and Quality Services (IQS) was established in 1989 to provide worldwide project quality management, engineering inspection, NDT and training services for a wide range of industries, including engineering, mining, manufacturing, oil, gas and petrochemical.
IQS is accredited by AWS, Lloyd’s Bureau of Shipping and Bureau Veritas, and is favourably positioned to offer clients a range of services in accordance with ISO 9001: 2008 and ISO 17020 general criteria for the operation of various types of bodies performing inspection.
Mining project quality management and inspection services
IQS offers project quality management, expediting and inspection for the mining industry, employing internationally qualified inspection personnel to CSWIP, PCN, API and SAIW standards.
IQS will, on behalf of clients, conduct supplier evaluations and technical capability assessments, utilising IRCA-qualified and registered auditors, as well as commodity inspection and verification prior to shipment from supplier and customs clearance.

IQS provides a range of asset management and maintenance services for the mining industry, which includes risk-based inspection (RBI) and current best-practice methodology, as per the guidelines PAS BS 55-1 and PAS BS 55-2.

Welding services and training for the mining industry
IQS can develop welding procedures, and welder qualification and training to ASME, BS, AWS, ASNT and API standards.

IQS provides pressure vessel and pressurised system inspection, recertification and design reviews to ASME Section VIII, Division 1 and 2; BS 5500; ANSI B31.1; ANSI B31.3; AD-Merkblatt; Technical Rules Dampfkessel (TRD).
Paint inspectors and corrosion-protection advisory services
IQS paint inspectors and corrosion-protection advisory services utilise internationally qualified NACE, CSWIP and PCN personnel.
